Second tip is that , if you look at my above said blog , there would be three ad units sorrounding the post,one at top and two at sides,search at bottom, This is the best placement anyone can get as it offers extreme visibility of ads and tempts every post reader to click on it.So the two ad units on both left and right should always be wide vertical banner and upper one should be wide leaderboard.And also you can use google search to land search results on your different page or site.Also you can see http://hiyatechpark.info/ and click on the blog link to see various best ctr techniques and ad placements.
